The new MPS Foundation website is now online

Giu 24, 2014 | 2014

A new graphic layout and a social media approach
The newsletter has also been renovated

Starting today, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation has a new website with a completely redesigned graphic layout and an approach oriented towards social media and the web 2.0.
The new website has a graphic design that adapts automatically to the device on which it is being viewed (PC, smartphone, tablet, web TV) with a wide range of resolutions, reducing to a minimum the need for users to resize or scroll down the page.
Among the major innovations is the possibility to share posts (news, memos, events and notices, projects, and other contents) and the activities of the MPS Foundation on the principal social networks, thanks to the share function present on each page. The Foundation has also initiated a presence on the social media by activating Pinterest and YouTube profiles.
Particularly important are the sections devoted to art, with the Art Collection and the Malandrini Archive, where the zoom feature enables viewing of the individual art works and photos even in great detail, as well as the results of the work done in conjunction with the cataloguing of the photo and art collections.
The new site not only answers to the necessity of providing information about the foundation’s institutional activities but also opens up to interaction with the community and its stakeholders, promoting culture, art and events in the Foundation’s area of involvement.
The Foundation’s online newsletter has also undergone a restyling, in line with the graphics and functions of the website.
The building of the website and restyling of the newsletter were conceived and carried out in house by MPS Foundation staff, coordinated by engineer Alessandro Francini, head of IT for the Foundation.
