With reference to the note issued today by the Cittadini di Siena group of City of Siena council members concerning the compensation paid to MPS Foundation management, the amounts cited by the group are incorrect (The note reads: “The president receives an annual gross honorarium of 112,000 euros, the vice-president 42,000, and the other board members 37,000, besides an attendance fee of 480 euros per meeting, while for the fourteen members of the Board of Directors the attendance fee is 1,500 euros per meeting”).

The annual gross compensation currently paid is the following: president, 75,000 euros; vice president of the Administrative Board, 28,000 euros; member of the Administrative Board 25,000 euros (these administrators do not receive any additional attendance fee for meetings); member of the Board of Directors, attendance fee of 1,200 euros. For the Board of Auditors: president of the Board of Auditors, 37,000 euros; regular auditor 25,000 euros; substitute auditor, no fee.

It should be stressed that the costs of the administrative bodies, in light of measures already decided, will be cut in half on 31 December 2014 compared to the amounts paid at the end of December 2012.
