In view of the shareholders’ meeting of Banca Mps on 14 April 2015
Following the resolution approved by the Administrative Board on 18 March 2015, the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena has this evening – together with the parties to the Shareholders’ Agreement (Fintech Advisory Inc and BTG Pactual) – deposited the lists of candidates for the renewal of the Board of Directors and the Board of Auditors of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (for 2015-2018), in view of the shareholders’ meeting called for 14 April 2015.

The selection of the candidates by the parties to the Agreement was supported by Korn Ferry, a leading executive search firm, and, as regards the issues which fall within its expertise, by Credito Fondiario as an advisor to the Fondazione.

The lists contain the following names:
a) for the Board of Directors of Banca Mps
1) Alessandro Profumo;
2) Fiorella Kostoris;
3) Fabrizio Viola;
4) Fiorella Bianchi;
5) Christian Whamond;
6) Lucia Calvosa;
7) Roberto Isolani.

b) for the Board of Auditors of Banca Mps
Standing Auditors
1) Elena Cenderelli;
2) Alessandro Carretta.

Substitute Auditor
1) Carmen Regina Silvestri.

In the meantime, the parties to the Agreement have agreed to propose to the Shareholders’ Meeting that Alessandro Profumo be confirmed as Chairman.
The Chairman of the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena will report back to the Board of Directors’ meeting, which has been called for 27 March, on the procedure followed and the decisions adopted by the Administrative Board in its selection of the names.
