Enrico Totaro appointed to the Administrative Board

In their meeting today, the Deputazione Generale (Board of Directors) of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation appointed Enrico Totaro to the Deputazione Amministratrice (Administrative Board). Totaro takes the place of Giorgio Olivato, who had resigned from the post. The Administrative Board is thus made up of the following members: president Antonella Mansi, Alessandro Carretta, Camilla Dei, Flavia Galletti, and Enrico Totaro.

Totaro, born in Trepuzzi in the province of Lecce in 1951, earned a degree in philosophy at the University of Siena. A member of the administrative board of the Terme di Chianciano in 1974, in 1975 he was named president of the Azienda Autonoma del Turismo in Chianciano Terme and elected a town council member of Chianciano. Hired in 1976 by the MPS Bank, he pursued his entire career at Monte dei Paschi, moving up to the position of Area Director of northern Tuscany in 2009. From 2010 to 2011 he was a member of the administrative board of Fidi Toscana. He retired in 2011.
